Meet the Founder
JOHN DEROIN
John is the founding principal of Professional CFO Services, bringing decades of experience in banking and finance to his role. After earning his degree in finance and economics from the University of Idaho, John climbed the ranks in the banking industry, eventually becoming Vice President and loan officer, specializing in agriculture and commercial lending. His deep understanding of finance led him to take on CFO and division president roles before starting his own CFO practice in 2007, with a focus on helping businesses in agriculture, manufacturing, and service industries.

John's passion lies in working with entrepreneurial companies, where his financial leadership and trusted advice make a real difference. Since founding Professional CFO Services in 2016, he has been especially effective with clients operating on EOS. When he's not busy helping businesses succeed, you can find him golfing, hiking, or exploring Idaho’s beautiful wilderness with his wife of 17 years.
